WALK-IN-INTERVIEW 

It is proposed to fill up three posts of Skilled Assistants under the scheme entitled “ICAR 

Seed Project” by Walk-in-Interview at Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Coimbatore-7 (Tamilnadu) 

on 29.11.2012 at 9.00 a.m. 

SKILLED ASSISTANT 

1. No. of Posts  : 1 (ONE)  

2. Duration : From December 2012 - 1 Year or till winding up of the 

scheme whichever is earlier. 

3. Essential Qualifications : B.Sc.(Biotechnology), B.Sc. (Biochemistry & 

Biotechnology), B.Sc.(Botany) / B.Sc. (Ag.) with 

experience in Tissue Culture. 

4. Remuneration : ` 6060/- Consolidated pay per month. 

5. Age  : 30 Years for Men & 35 Years for Women.  The age 

limits are relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates 

as per Govt. of India norms. 

6. Nature of Job : To assist the Scientist in doing Tissue Culture work 

for the production of Disease free Tissue Culture 

plants. 

SKILLED ASSISTANT 

1. No. of Posts  : 2 (TWO)  

2. Duration : From December 2012 - 1 Year or till winding up of the 

scheme whichever is earlier. 

3. Essential Qualifications : 10

 Class / Plus Two. 

4. Remuneration : ` 6060/- Consolidated pay per month. 

5. Age  : 30 Years for Men & 35 Years for Women.  The age 

limits are relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates 

as per Govt. of India norms. 

6. Nature of Job : To assist the Scientist in doing Tissue Culture & 

Seedling raising work for the production of Disease 

free Tissue Culture plants. Terms and conditions : 

1. The candidates should bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, one set of 

photocopies of     certificates, experience certificate and latest passport size photograph 

at the time of interview. 

2. No objection certificate from the employer, incase he / she is in employment elsewhere. 

3. No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate to attend the Walk-in-interview.
